Administrative News Of Singra Upazilas
Singra has 12 Unions/Wards, 448 Mauzas/Mahallas, and 439 villages. Singra with an area of 528.46 km2, is bounded by NANDIGRAM upazila on the north, GURUDASPUR upazila on the south, TARASH and SHERPUR (Bogra) upazilas on the east, NATORE SADAR, ATRAI and RANINAGAR upazilas on the west.
Singra: (Town) consists of 9 wards and 26 mahallas. The area of the town is 11.70 km2. The town has a population of 22517; male 50.54%, female 49.46%. The town has one dakbungalow.
Administration: Singra thana was established in 1869 and was turned into an upazila in 1983. It consists of 1paurashava,12 union parishads, 446 mouzas and 439 villages.

Population: About four lacs; male 51.29%, female 48.71%; Muslim 87.59%, Hindu 11.46% and others 0.95%; ethnic national: Santal.

Singra (Bengali: সিংড়া) is an Upazila of Natore District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.The area was governed by the Zamindars of Bengal and Natore, under the Rajshahi Raj family and the Dighapatia Raj families from the 1700s to the mid-1800s, and then under the Singranatore family from the late 1800s till 1951 when the Zamindari system was abolished by Pakistan.Singra is located at 24°30′N 89°08′E . It has 52851 households and total area 528.46 km².

Population Census Information Of Natore Sadar Upazila
Natore Sadar Upazila (natore district) area 401.29 sq km, located in between 24°19' and 24°35' north latitudes and in between 88°51' and 89°07' east longitudes. It is bounded by atrai and baghmara upazilas on the north, bagatipara and baraigram upazilas on the south, singra and gurudaspur upazila on the east, puthia and Baghmara upazilas on the west.
Population Total 400030; male 207466, female 192564; Muslim 366587, Hindu 31650, Buddhist 904, Christian 15 and others 874. Indigenous communities such as oraon, santal and Buno belong to this upazila.
Water bodies Main rivers: atrai, Barnai, Nandakuja.
Administration Natore Thana was formed in 1793 and it was turned into an upazila in 1984. 'Natore Municipality was formed in 1869.

Natore District (rajshahi division) area 1896.05 sq km, located in between 24°25' and 24°58' north latitudes and in between 88°01' and 88°30' east longitudes. It is bounded by naogaon and bogra districts on the north, pabna and kushtia districts on the south, Pabna and sirajganj districts on the east, rajshahi district on the west.
Population Total 698447; male 353201, female 345246; Muslim 549702, Hindu 148339, Buddhist 186, Christian 21 and others 199. Indigenous communities such as santal, oraon, Turi, Bhumij, Kaibarta, Mushar, Malpahadi, munda belong to this upazila.
Water bodies Main rivers: padma, baral, Mara Baral, Baranai, Gurh, nagar; chalan beel 'is notable.
Administration Natore Sub-division, under Rajshahi district, was established in 1845 and it was turned into a district in 1984. Natore Municipality was formed in 1869.

Upazilas in Natore
Natore was the District HQ of Rajshahi since 1769-1825. At the eve of that replacement,Natore was declared as a Subdivision; that's why Natore is the first Subdivision of Bangladesh. Natore was established as a district in 1984.
